I'm putting together a seminar to teach high school teachers about cladistics and PN. The text books in the state finally adopted them two years ago, but most schools are ignoring it so far because the instructors themselves are not familiar enough with the subject matter to teach it.
My point is I was wondering if it would be appropriate to have a sub board that deals with PN in formal education and/or the barriers to getting more widespread adoption of PN? Just a thought. |

Even in college, many of the instructors are not familiar with PN and are even resistant to it because of their unfamiliarity. This is why they persist in teaching LN to their students. I'm doubtful there's any professor on my campus that has taught PN or is even familiar with it. |
